The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Department of Chemistry of the School of Sciences organized a special event to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Department of Chemistry on Thursday March 29, 2018, in the Great Hall of the University of Athens.
The History of the Chemistry Department through its Laboratories 18/4/2018
The history of each Laboratory in the Chemistry Department, with the participation of the Laboratory members, was presented on Wednesday April 18th at 3pm in the Karatheodoris Amphitheatre in the Department of Mathematics.
The 6th Chemistry Student Workshop – Chemistry and Literature 4/5/2018
As a continuation of the successful series of workshops of previous years, a celebration was held on Friday, May 4th, 2018 in the A15 Amphitheater of the Chemistry Department.
Athens Conference on Advances in Chemistry 2018
The international conference “Athens Conference in Advances in Chemistry (acac2018)”, on the subject of developments in Chemistry, took place from 30 October to 2 November 2018 on the University campus. Distinguished graduates of the Chemistry Department were invited, and the conference was open to all interested parties.
